Q: The name “PangPamilya” suggests that the healthcard may cover the entire family, is that right? Or does it just cover one family member?

The PangPamilya Healthcare covers the principal and 2 dependents.

Q: Will my beneficiaries undergo a health assessment or health exam, which they must pass, before they can avail themselves of the health services?

There is no medical examination upon enrollment but there is a health declaration questions to validate if they are qualified or not to enroll.

Q: If my beneficiaries had no pre-existing conditions before the health assessment, but then they develop health issues after becoming PangPamilya Healthcard members, will they be removed from the program?

No. They still qualify but they cannot use the card for their pre existing condition but they can use it for any disease not related to their pre existing condition. If they renew on the second year they can fully use their card even for the pre existing condition.

Q: Does PangPamilya Healthcard have a complete list of health providers such as hospitals and clinics throughout Philippines?

Yes. The provider has more than 1000 hospitals and clinics nationwide. You can check the list of our accredited providers here.

Q: Does PangPamilya Healthcard have a cap or limit to its healthcare coverage?

Yes. PHP 200,000 shared annual benefit limit for 1 principal and 2 dependents.

Q: Does PangPamilya Healthcard include prescription drug coverage? Or is it a separate program with distinct rates?

No. It does not include prescription card coverage.

Q: Can my beneficiaries become PangPamilya Healthcard members even if they have health insurance issued by Philippine government?

Yes. It is essential that they have PhilHealth which is the national insurance program.
